I choose Go Fund Me to help with the fund raising. So far, the donations came from really close friends and my mom. I raised $180? We need about $7000 to film this. Sigh... I spoke to a friend of mine who introduced me to someone who worked for Hulu. He told me he started off the same way I did and made some suggestions. One of them was to have a fundraiser.

We created the Promos!
In an effort to raise money, bring attention to the series, I decided to film a few short clips. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. I wrote the scripts 10 minutes before my friends arrived. Let me just say, we had so much fun!
Let's Talk Writers
As with every idea that needs collaboration, I called on my friends who help me out. Two of my besties and one of my homeboys from graduate school. A blondie, the vegan, and a hot guy. Actually, we all went to the same graduate school for writing. I was the last one to finish. I finish next week. (Continues patting self on the back.)
Two Weeks Later
So about two weeks ago I announced to the world I was creating a webseries called #TheAdjuncts No, that's the title with the hastag. Well, while I got a lot of praise and encouragement from people, what I needed from them really was some money. When you start asking friends and family for money, they get really funny!
I decided, since I want people to learn about the webseries and the process of creating one, to blog about it.
