We created the Promos!

In an effort to raise money, bring attention to the series, I decided to film a few short clips. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. I wrote the scripts 10 minutes before my friends arrived. Let me just say, we had so much fun!

The vegan was the director that day. She came with her camera ready to go. The blondie brought her amazing family and the vegan's brother came too (he's the script editor). I didn't tell anyone but I had several cups of tea that day. I woke up at like 6am that Sunday freaking out. It was pouring outside and I thought, watch everyone cancel. No one canceled. Everyone showed up and check out these cool clips.

I just want to point out that was my amazing coughing in the back. Those are also real math equations. We were in a room full of English teachers and tutors. We couldn't figure out a math problem. So the computer genius "adjunct" came up with what's on the board.

We had to shoot this scene so many times because I forgot the lines! Everyone knew their lines but the ones I wrote, I forgot. I'm not meant to be an actress. Can you spot the vegan? ;)

So shooting this scene was pretty funny. The young hottie in training is a natural actor. He's going to make it big, I said it first. He kept making us laugh and we had to keep doing the take. The adjunct hottie was hilarious because he went from being a sleepy student to a teacher just like that! You can't even tell!!! Look at his face? Every teacher made that face at least once today!

This funny story behind this is we were more concerned about the clock in the video. We wanted the time to look as close to class being over as possible. Blondie directed this scene with the Vegan. I was on the floor with my iPhone recording. I did that for most scenes.

So this is by far our favorite scene!  The teacher and student. They have been together and married for what? 20 years!? Their son was in the room blushing when we filmed. Good times!

We had an old school camera with a camcorder together. Since the volume wasn't very good, we used my iphone to do the recording. The Vegan, who is clearly talented with all this technology, she merged the sound together and came up with the clips! Awesome sauce as she would say!
